Quarter-mile model railway in Walton Park, Sale, running both steam and electric trains on weekends. Operated by a 40-strong volunteer club since 1979 with up to five trains running simultaneously.
Didn't actually go here as it is only open on Sundays, but we do go often and our son absolutely loves it. You can never get tired of riding on trains.
