1 / 3Salters Hill Playground
π London, Greater London
Adventure playground featuring a large tree house structure with hidden water-activated games, climbing frames, slides, swings, and a sand play area. A small on-site cafe sells snacks.
Loads of different things to do, swings are a bit slow but there's some great slides and climbing stuff. Highlight is the huge tree house type feature with different water games if you find the taps! There's a small cafe which sold snacks we ran out as we'd stayed hours longer than we thought we would! Recommended
π Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged 4β10 who enjoy exploring and water play. The water-game tree house is a standout feature when working. Parents of toddlers should watch carefully near concrete steps that lack edge padding. Check recent visitor reports before travelling β one reviewer noted the adventure section was closed.

βThe playground is really cool. My daughter loves it, however she hit her head on a set of cement steps that have no protection on the edges. I feel that Lambeth council should make the steps safer by covering the edges of the steps with soft material.β

βIts a very busy playground but the water park never has water. Litter is left in the bin too long and as a result is found all over thanks to the collaboration between foxes, squirrells, crows and the worst animal of them all.. the man and woman who use this park. The football pitch at the bottom has just been refurbished and its quite nice to use.β

Overview
Salters Hill Playground's centrepiece is a large tree house structure containing water-activated games triggered by finding the right taps β a genuine discovery element that keeps children busy well beyond their planned visit. Additional equipment includes climbing frames, slides, swings, and sand play. A small cafe sells snacks. Recent reviews flag that the adventure playground section is now fenced off and in disrepair, so confirm current conditions before making a special trip.
