1 / 3SEA LIFE Blackpool
📍 Blackpool, Merseyside
Over 2,500 species across themed zones and walkthrough tunnels, including sharks, stingrays, and jellyfish. Sensory-friendly quiet hours available. Budget 1-2 hours — the best displays are saved for the end of the route.
Initially weren't very hyped up about it, mom was disappointed, but the further we go in the better the experience is!!! We had loads of fun! Baby loved it! The hands on experience in the beginning was great too! They saved the best for last, I won't spoil it for people looking for this review but it only gets better!! Also the shop had very cute souvenirs!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with babies and young children — the calm blue lighting, gentle music at the main tank, and hands-on staff interactions make it genuinely soothing rather than overwhelming. Older children engaged by marine biology will get more from the educational content.

“I recently had a fantastic time at Sea Life Blackpool. The displays were beautiful, but what really made the experience stand out was the exceptional staff. I want to give a special mention to Kylie, who was absolutely amazing. They were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to share fascinating facts about the various sea creatures with us. Their passion for marine life really shined through and made our visit so much more engaging. It’s rare to see that level of customer care. I highly recommend visiting, and definitely look out for Kylie if you have any questions”

“Amazing place. Sat at the big tank at the end, just watching them all swim around. The music made it so peaceful. Think we sat there for a good 20 minutes and the staff member was offering small shark teeth. Took one for my son, he's going to love it. He can't get enough of sharks. The whole experience was great, watching the different creatures and I loved the added Halloween decorations too. I will definitely be bringing my children next time.”

“The walkthrough tunnels and themed zones are well designed, and you can see sharks, rays, jellyfish, and colourful tropical fish up close. The place is clean and organised, and the staff are friendly and informative. However, it is not very large, so you can finish the full visit in about 1 to 2 hours. Ticket prices can feel a bit high for the size, especially during peak season. Overall, it’s a good short visit in Blackpool, but not a full-day attraction.”
