My son has been coming here since summer last year after school. Amazing for him. It's right on our doorstep and round the corner from his school. He normally goes 3 days a week once he has finished. He loves coming here. He has learnt to do.some skateboarding, take part in art and craft for different celebrations and events and make new friends aswell as having some friends from his school go too. He loves the staff and they take good care of him and help him with different tasks if needed or if there has been a problem they are capable of sorting this and reporting back to us with any updates. Great littke place for kids to go and very safe for them aswell.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 6 and over who are ready to develop independence in a structured, supervised setting. The mix of physical, creative, and outdoor activities makes it genuinely engaging across age groups — older children can skateboard or work on the fire pit, younger ones can build dens or do crafts.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Children over 6 must register before attending independently — forms are available at the playground
After-school provision runs three days a week for regular attendees

Really "wow" for kids! Great range of different activities and stuff. Friendly staff and many things to do indoors (soft play, many toys, crafts) and outdoors. There is place for growing vegetables and traditionally - a fireplace. Positive moment regarding safety - they have registration form with attendance time, where every kid has to sign in and sign out. Thanks a lot for such nice experience!

So proud that the local community has taken hold of the stewardship of this rare gem in the UK. After the pillaging and ruining the majority of Adventure Playgrounds in the UK, there are but a few remaining spaces that truly supports independent child development. Save these spaces!

Amazing space for all ages with so much on offer, with dedicated youth workers. Had a good Chat with Sarah who was lovely. Look forward to taking the family here soon and maybe volunteering!
