We attended the free SEN session on the Sunday from 9:45-11:45 as I am trying to get my son out a bit more as we believe he may have autism so he can get overwhelmed in crowded and new place. The centre is dated but to say he had a fabulous time is an understatement. The centre is huge so he ran for absolutely ages backwards and forwards and it was nice to go somewhere where others didnt care if he had a meltdown. My other sons doesnt have additional needs but was able to join in we just paid the fee for his age. Will be visiting as often as possible!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

The Sunday SEN sessions are the standout offering — a genuinely calmer environment with support for children with additional needs. For standard visits, children 5 and above who can navigate mixed-age spaces will get the most from the venue. The space is large and the staff are well-regarded.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

Amazing venue for kids. Reasonably priced and the staff are friendly & helpful. I would recommend you also try the food. Generous potion sizes and if you don’t want to try the food I would recommend the lovely coffee. The management of this place should be proud of the staff.

It's OK.... it's getting a bit run down in places and there's caked on dust. There's never any balls in the ball pit for the little ones to play with! it's really annoying that there's no policing of the children by staff as some parents just do nothing. Every single time I come here I have to tell other kids off for climbing up the slides when others are trying to use them or throwing balls aggressively at each other. The smaller play area for under 3s and under 5s always has older children in it. One kid was climbing up the nets and fell off and onto my kid (luckily she was ok). If there were staff policing the areas then this wouldn't happen. It's fine if you go and there are like minded parents there who watch and control their kids but if not, it's just stressful. There's loads of chairs/sofas for you to sit on. The toilets are in need of some TLC. Staff are friendly, I've never had any issues with them. I'm sure we will still go here again as my daughter does enjoy it so ill take photos/ update my review if things improve and increase the stars where it's due. Or, reduce if it keeps getting worse. I still think its a good place to take your child but maybe when they're 5+
