This is a really nice space - with two play areas and a whole park to stroll around with grass, flower beds and flat pathways it’s good for a little walk. We like to park behind the library, wander around to the shopping centre for a snack from the bakery or ice lollies from a supermarket and then picnic in the park. You can easily head around on bikes, scooters or with a push chair. And with a basketball court and the outdoor gym equipment it’s a great one for getting a jog in. If you like playing PokΓ©mon Go then you’re good here too!

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

An excellent choice for mixed-age families who want varied activities beyond a single playground. Two play areas, a basketball court, outdoor gym, and flat bike-friendly paths make this one of the better free outdoor spaces in Northfield. Families with prams will find the flat paths easy going.

β€œA lovely park in Northfield. Quite well maintained and spacious to have a walk or kids can spend time in the play area. Parking is free for a period of time I think but not in very good condition with lots of holes and quite bumpy.”
