1 / 3Allens Cross Play Area
π Birmingham, West Midlands
Allens Cross Play Area in Birmingham has slides, swings and functional equipment accessible via Bristol Road South or the park entrance. Open around the clock as a public park space.
The park itself is OK. Play area is a bit under maintained although equipment like slides and swings are still functional and strong. Lots of graffiti on the equipment. Usually quiet on weekdays people from around the area would come here around evening time. You can access the play area from Bristol Road South main road or from the park entrance on the other side although the walk will be a bit hilly challenging for kids. Donβt think the park has closing hours though. It is a public park anyone can access anytime.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for local families with primary-school-age children seeking a free, always-accessible outdoor play spot. The Bristol Road South entrance is the easier route with young children β the park entrance involves a hilly walk. Weekday visits offer the quietest experience.
