Vue Cinema at W12 Shopping Centre has been my go-to cinema for the past 15 years, and it holds a special place for me. I first started coming here as a kid myself, and now I’m lucky enough to be bringing my own children to enjoy films here too. It’s been amazing to see the cinema remain such a consistent and welcoming part of the community over the years. The location is very convenient, especially being inside the shopping centre and close to excellent transport links. The screens are a good size, with clear picture quality and strong sound, making for an enjoyable cinema experience. The seating is comfortable, and the cinema is generally clean and well looked after. The staff truly stand out. They are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, whether that’s assisting with tickets, guiding families to the right screen, answering questions, or making sure everything runs smoothly. Their professionalism and warm attitude make visits with children especially easy and enjoyable. Overall, Vue at W12 is a reliable, family-friendly cinema that continues to deliver great experiences year after year. Highly recommended.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Families who have been attending this cinema for years value its community feel and convenient location. For new visitors, the repeated and independently verified reports of mice in screening rooms make it a difficult recommendation for family visits with children.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Use restrooms on arrival rather than mid-film when they are most likely freshly serviced
⏰Inspect the auditorium floor and seating before settling in and request a move if unsatisfied
🎟️Raise any hygiene notes with staff during your visit rather than after
πŸš—W12 Shopping Centre location means parking and multiple dining options are nearby

β€œLovely customer service, but the venue smells and toilets are very dirty. I visited this cinema on a Saturday to watch a movie starting at around 3:20pm. I thought that it would be a better experience than going at a busier time. It was completely empty, which is fine. However, the toilets were dirty and the whole venue had a strong smell of old and used, I can’t explain exactly. I just know that I won’t come back.”

β€œVue Shepherd's Bush W12 has to be the worst cinema I have ever visited. During the show there were mice running all over the place which resulted in people screaming throughout the movie. I wrote to customer service asking for a refund or vouchers to make up for the poor experience and they simply apologised and that was it. Vue cinema's we work hard for our money and if we come to your venue to watch a movie we certainly don't expect mice to be running around freely. At one point the mice even made it on the seats which people sit on. Staff don't seem to be cleaning thoroughly enough and I'm now considering of telling Hammersmith & Fulham borough to look into this place.”

β€œVue Shepherd’s Bush is the most pathetic cinema I have ever visited. I have been to over 100 cinemas around the world, and this was by far the worst experience. The place was extremely dirty and unhygienic. There was a strong, unpleasant smell throughout the cinema, and even after informing the cleaner, nothing was done to improve the situation. To make matters worse, there were mice running around and even on the seats during the movie. This was completely unacceptable and shocking. I would strongly advise everyone to never visit this cinema.”
