A very nice and cozy Cinema hall in the Barbican Centre. They show mainstream movies for a very cheap price. For an instance a 3D movie on Monday would cost you less than £10. Cinema 1 hall is reasonably big, I didn't expect it to be that big to be honest. The screen is also very nice. Wish it was bit bigger. The staff is very friendly and kind. Clean setup. I recommend Barbican Cinema for anyone who want to see mainstream movies at a very much reasonable price. Thank you.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with older children who can sit comfortably for a full-length film — some visitors find the seating uncomfortable for longer screenings. The Barbican Centre setting turns a cinema trip into a longer cultural outing. Allow extra time before your film to navigate the building, which has a famously complex layout.

A very nice and cozy Cinema hall at the Barbican. Attended an Engineering program here. The garden on the 3rd floor was where we had cocktails and it is insanely beautiful. The staff at the Barbican are kind and ready to help with directions

Hip crowd, great movie selection, cool respite when the weather's hot, great selection of bars, restaurants and outdoor terraces to socialise beforehand, very LGBTQ friendly

Yes, everyone mentioned how projecting it is to get around the Barbican, it's true. Cinema 1 is worth seeking out for a film one evening though. The understated bar and seating area serves some posh sweets, bags of popcorn and a variety of drinks from water to lager to wine. The cinema space is immaculately kept, the seats are larger than average with plenty of leg room. The screen is big and most seats have a good view. If you enjoy films then this should certainly be on your radar for an evening out
