1 / 2Water Fountains
đ London, Greater London
Interactive fountains along the Thames offering cooling water play for children, with direct sightlines to Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Tower of London, and the Shard. Free entry, pram-friendly paths throughout.
Awesome scenic location surrounded by new buildings
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families visiting central London on a warm day who want free water play combined with iconic sightseeing. Toddlers to primary-age kids enjoy the jets; parents get a genuinely spectacular backdrop. Build this into a longer South Bank itinerary rather than treating it as the sole destination â fountain downtime is a real risk.

âThis is a nice place to relax and enjoy the view. You have a view of the city of London's skyscrapers, the HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge and Tower of London right next to city hall and the shard. Recommend coming hereâ

âIn The summer, This places is Cool!!!! 1 Take a nice slow wander along the river. 2 Eat and drink and be merry along the way. 3 do a little site seeing. 4 make your way to the fountains where you can publicly run and get stupidly wet as a grown up. And job done.top way to cool yourself off. And the kids love it. Good laugh.make a nice waterproof lunch. Wicked low cost day out. Can't grumple about that.â

Overview
Riverside fountains sit along the South Bank with unobstructed views of Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Tower of London, and the Shard. Children run through jets and cool off in warm weather as parents enjoy one of London's best free vantage points. Pram-friendly paths connect to the wider riverside walk. Fountain operation is intermittent â confirm before making a dedicated trip.
