1 / 3Woodgate Avenue Playground
đ Chessington, Greater London
Outdoor playground in Chessington with varied equipment for different age groups, a dedicated outdoor gym area, and an open field for ball games. Free entry with easy parking nearby. No toilets on site.
Kids love this park. The ball area field and park means all kids are entertained by something. Easy to park. No cafe or loo tho.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children across a range of ages who want a playground with genuine variety plus room to run. The outdoor gym gives adults something useful to do during longer visits. Plan toilet stops before arriving and aim for weekday mornings for the cleanest conditions. Weekend mornings can bring litter from the night before.

âAt the time I took my 10year old grandaughter, 8.45am it was clean well cared for and had few users in either area. There are however no restrooms, the grass was a bit long and with permanently open gates I was concerned about possible dogs mess, not that we saw any. I was saddened to hear that over that weekend in the evening the local youths had left a lot of litter and empty bottles.â

âLots of equipment, though some of it needs TLC (probably because it's all well used in a busy area near a school). Great little outdoor gym area and equipment while your dapper is playing in the secure park. Could do with toilets.â

âLovely playground. Lots to do for a variety of ages and loads of space for them to run around and scoot etc. Plus the recycled rubber floor. Also decent outside gym. My son had his friend had a fab time together.â

Overview
Woodgate Avenue Playground in Chessington features a broad range of play equipment on recycled rubber surfacing, a separate outdoor gym area for adults, and open field space for ball games and scooters. The play area is busier at school drop-off and collection times due to proximity to a local school. Parking is readily available nearby. No toilet facilities exist on site, and cleanliness drops at weekends when litter from evening use accumulates.
