Great place to walk, play, run and enjoy but there is just one thing the grass is full of dog poo I think the people that work in this park should clean the park so often. Also there are near by shops so you can have a picnic.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families who want open space to run, kick a ball, or spread out a picnic rather than a feature-packed playground. The equipment area is small and will underwhelm children expecting elaborate structures. Dog mess on the grass is a recurring issue, so check underfoot before settling in.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Watch the grass for dog mess before setting up a picnic
⏰Nearby shops mean you can pick up food and drinks on arrival
đŸŽŸī¸Combine with the annual community event for a fuller day out
🚗Bring a ball or frisbee to make the most of the wide open lawns

“Lovely event Great Host checky cheky Wonderful artists and supporting staff and volunteer Good stalls and information Stupid to not allow people to enjoy a festival with the freedom to have a drink A disaster decision made by non drinkers no doubt. It resulted in a poor turn out A beautiful day weather wise The security man on the exit path WOULD NOT allow me to go in that way, even there was about 6 people around there, I explained that I had a bone problem in my feet thats killing me right now, please may I pass He said no way I said you would say that to anyone with an issue? He said yes You have to walk all the way round the other side of the park to get in. Good bye I said I hope this is not the flavour across the rest of the staff. I hobbled round, most unnecessarily I was in pain. Thankfully it was the only negative We had a fantastic time, some people met up for first time in over 2 and a half years Do a leaflet drop next, old school style It might get more people in, Get locals more involved earlier in the planning. Give people the freedom to have a drink Civil rights an all that Toilets were very good in my experience Good but could be great 😃”

“My daughter likes but for me the playground is massive disappointment is looks like it was just done to increase value of the properties which ware build at the same time not to make really fun playground for children.”
