“Nice, clean. Warm water. A little bit colder inside. Plenty of: carpark spots, lockers, changing rooms, showers. No steam/sauna”

“The pool is perfect for all swimmers and learners. There are three pools for different age groups and swimming depths. Plenty of lessons for swimmers by both Wyndley and Boldemere clubs. Pools are heated in winters too! Parking is available. The only issue is that the mens toilets are broken a bit and are always fixed temporarily, and when they are broken, they get very smelly. I would give a 5 if this is sorted! Gents toilets are usable, but smelly as previously said.”

“I’ve been going to Wyndley for 35+ years, but it’s changed little in the decades. It’s pretty basic inside, but it looks tired and is in obvious need for repair in several areas. The mixed changing rooms especially are pretty tired and rather dirty. Attending recently they’ve been in a dire state, with people wearing outdoor shoes even into the pool areas unchallenged I noticed which is just rude and very unhygienic. The floors as a result are often filthy, to be quite honest, with even the poolside drains being caked in black/brown water. It does what it says on the tin with no fanfare but I can’t recommend it. EDIT: dropped it down to 1* following another visit. 9am on a Sunday, child’s pool was already filthy. Ceiling tiles in the mixed sex changing rooms were missing and brown water was leaking into the changing facilities from the above pipework. No idea what those pipes contained, could have been anything. Obviously pretty important to ensure health and safety control in a swimming baths! Baby and toddler classes are NOT baby and toddler. Reception, whilst friendly, were unable to help when I mentioned parents had brought their 4/5+ y/o children into the baths and were thus making it impossible to safely introduce my small baby to swimming. Will never be going again, and I suggest nobody else does until they knock it all down and build something new.”
