1 / 3Fairfax Road Children's Play Area
π Birmingham, West Midlands
Fairfax Road Children's Play Area in Birmingham features baby and toddler swings, standard swings, a seesaw, roundabout, and climbing slide frame. A large green field adjoins the playground. Shops and buses nearby.
Small park with two baby/toddler swings and two open seated ones. Thereβs a bouncing car that is damaged but doesnβt seem to be dangerous and a seesaw and round about. Thereβs also a slide/ climbing frame area. Just to the right of the park you can access a large green area with lots of wildlife and plants. In the field thereβs also some kind of playing pitch either for basketball or football or something like that just off the main road. There is a Morrisons local, chip shop, cafe and furniture and appliance store just to the left of the park also on fairfax road and a pub further along as you head towards west heath Tesco express. It is right next to a few schools and several tower blocks/ council houses so itβs usually not an empty park but generally fairly quiet. Bus stops within walking distance for the 19 and 46 I believe
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with babies and toddlers who want a local playground with good equipment variety and practical nearby amenities. The adjoining green field extends the outdoor space significantly. Older children may find the equipment range sparse.
