1 / 3Ashburton Park
📍 Croydon, Greater London
Spacious Croydon park with open grass for running, football goals, a trim trail, renovated café with outdoor decking, and a summer fun fair. Free entry with parking.
We celebrated 100 years since Ashburton Park was first opened. A Time capsule was buried and a photo of some Croydon Pétanque members was buried along with many other photos and items. Looking forward to going back in 100 years time to see them !!! 🤣😅😂
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and dogs who want space to run, kick a ball, or walk circuits. The trim trail and open pitches are the main draw. Younger children will enjoy the summer fun fair. The café provides a solid stop for parents after a walk around the perimeter.

“Great park with massive open space. Great for a jogs , long walks , walking the dogs or just a quiet picnic. There are football goals for sports enthusiasts and benches around to sit down for those less active. There are a lot of nice dog owners who walk their dogs and a great spot to meet nice dogs.”

“Much improved park. The old hall is now a nicely renovated space. Great cafe tucked around the back with decking area for when the weather is good. Reasonable menu range, friendly staff and great prices.”

“Small, fenced park in Addiscombe. Some nice features. Went there with our dog, in some areas it was still muddy. But it has a nice trim trail all around the park...”
