1 / 2Children's playground
📍 London, Greater London
Outdoor playground in Streatham with a wide range of slides, swings, climbing frames, a wooden bridge, and a dedicated toddler area. A small on-site shop serves coffee and ice cream, with a cafe directly across the road.
Lovely playground, fairly well maintained, a huge range of slides, swings, climbing areas, a wooden bridge, and a toddler area. There is a small shop "The little Rook" which got very busy and had a notice they'd run out of some things but the shop assistant was friendly and polite. The toilets though were awful! There is also a fantastic cafe "La Panna" across the Road with a large range of ice creams and desserts, coffee and a clean loo! There was a man picking up litter at the playground when we were there and just outside a small festival with some kind of zorb balls, and a refreshments stand. My kids were happy and exhausted and we'd had somewhere to sit while they played so it was pretty good. There's little shade on a sunny day though.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children across different age groups who want a playground with genuine variety. Weekday mornings offer the cleanest, quietest conditions. Toilet facilities at the playground itself are unreliable — the cafe across the road is the practical solution for families staying more than an hour.

“Busy and then some parents not looking after their kids and some older kids don’t respect the toddler activities. Over crowded during weekends. However, good location with toilets and small shop serving coffee and ice creams. Lot of space to run outside of the park”

“This is a nice playground for kids in streatham and areas around, however, the toilets facilities are very dirty all the time and I noticed men using female ones more than once. Today, I witnessed sth terrible where I came across two men in one of the toilets (the only one working in females latrins) don’t ask me what was happening there 🤦🏼♀️🤬 but it was even more terrible that my kids had to witness this with me while I was trying to help them. The Council need to be very serious about this.”

This Streatham playground packs in a large variety of equipment — slides, swings, climbing structures, a wooden bridge, and a toddler-specific zone — across a spacious open site. A small shop, The Little Rook, operates on site selling basic refreshments. La Panna cafe sits directly across the road offering clean toilet facilities and hot food. The playground is open access with no gates, and parking and open space surround the site.
