1 / 2Coppermill Park
📍 London, Greater London
Compact east London park featuring climbing structures, swings, and shaded seating, forming part of the new Green Link walking route. Free entry with pram access throughout.
Excellent playground for the little ones
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children under 8 who want a low-key, well-shaded play stop. The age-appropriate equipment layout works well for younger children, and the shaded areas make summer visits comfortable. Families visiting after rain should expect muddy patches and uneven ground near the swings.

“Love this playground. The layout, different age appropriate constructions to climb, swing, even get shade during summer. Would do with updating, swings are very dates and seats chipped”

“It is a good place for kids although a lot of the swings are quite old! Plus that a lot of teenagers tend to gather there and leave their cigarette butts on the ground! Speaking of ground - the grass hasn't been trimmed for a good while and in some places there are muddy holes which fill up as soon as it starts raining making it difficult to get past them without getting dirty!”

Overview
Coppermill Park provides a well-laid-out selection of play equipment scaled for younger children, including climbing frames, swings, and shaded seating areas. The park sits on London's new Green Link walking route, making it easy to incorporate into a longer walk. Some equipment shows age — swings and seats are worn — and the grass can become muddy and uneven after rain.
