This is a great little farm for teaching toddlers about animals. It was very quiet during our visit on a Thursday around noon. The whole farm is buggy accessible and easy to navigate. We parked our buggy by the gate with no issues. My two year old loved the Shetland Ponies and lambs. On the upper level you’ll find the small furries. We saw a gorgeous black cat, rabbits, Guinea pigs and a tortoise munching on some lettuce. The wash trough is set low enough for toddlers to reach. There’s a box to leave a donation with no pressure.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with toddlers and children under 5 as part of a day in Crystal Palace Park. The free entry, buggy access, and close animal encounters are the main draws. Plan it as a park-day add-on rather than a primary destination β€” the farm is small and a standalone visit will feel brief.

β€œCute little farm. Good for a day out in the park and for small children. I bought my 1yr old and she loved it. Not much animals but as expected. Animals looked well looked after and clean. Wish there was more information about the animals as most enclosures didn’t have what the animals were. Hand washing area was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Few picnic tables so able to sit down and eat. Buggy accessible maybe harder to navigate with wheelchair as on a hill.”

β€œNot my favourite city farm by far - it's all concrete, it can get very crowded and it's a mixed bag with the animals. It's free and accessible and the kids enjoy it for a little while - I suggest popping your head in as something to do in the park, rather than going here specifically for the animals. Toilets are not the nicest but available for all so a bonus. Sometimes the animals are all out and looking good, other times none of them are out or they are looking all morose.”

β€œFree and small, able to be seen in about 10-15 minutes. Probably more for younger children than as some animals are quite common, like chickens, rabbits, birds, but also has goats, alpacas, small ponies, and others.”
