1 / 2Curzon Wimbledon
π London, Greater London
Three-screen boutique cinema in Wimbledon recently refurbished with business-class style reclining seats, personal side tables, and drinks and snacks served directly to seats. Upstairs lounge with wine and light food.
Finally, I had the pleasure of visiting the Curzon Wimbledon branch after refurbishing. I went with my daughter to see Wuthering Heights, and it was a truly lovely experience from start to finish. The cinema looks absolutely wonderful following its refurbishment. The atmosphere is intimate, cosy and very welcoming. The addition of a small kitchen is a fantastic touch. We ordered a goatβs cheese pizza with toppings and padrΓ³n peppers, and everything was delicious, freshly prepared and full of flavour. What really stood out, however, was the staff. The young team working there were exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional. We were served at our table and a lovely waitress were more than happy to have a brief chat about the new improvements to the cinema. She confidently recommended food and drinks, clearly knowing the menu well and taking pride of her work. We also chat with other staff members too. Their warmth and genuine enthusiasm made the visit even more enjoyable! The screening room itself is excellent after the renovation. The reclining seats are extremely comfortable, each with its own small table, which makes the whole experience feel both relaxed, indulgent and posh. I had a conversation with my daughter and we both agreed that this is also a perfect spot not only for watching a film but even for having a coffee or working on a laptop ( we both work from home ). The calm and intimate atmosphere makes it an ideal place to work quietly while enjoying good coffee and lunch. I would highly recommend this venue, not only for the beautiful refurbishment and comfort, but especially for the wonderful staff, who truly make the experience special. π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children or teens who want a premium cinema experience without travelling to central London. The in-seat service and comfortable seating make it a strong special-occasion choice.

βSingle best cinema, hands down. Upstairs, tucked away, lovely lounge with wine and light food and wonderful friendly staff. And then the best part: the seats are more comfortable than my (ridiculously-overpriced) sofa and a nice waitress will take your order right from your seat. Probably the only cinema that is more comfortable than watching a movie at home :)β

βIβve got to give 5* feedback to the Wimbledon branch as thatβs exactly how it feels compared to the Odeon next door. Hardly any ticket price difference, but a much better overall experience with much more comfortable seating, cleaner bathrooms, lovely bar area and friendly staff. Highly recommended!β

βLove this small gem of a cinema. 3 screening rooms (just revamped with 'business class' style reclining seats. Lovely team managing. Drinks and snacks now served to your seat. As a movie buff (with Curzon Cult membership) it's always a delight to go to this Curzon.β

Overview
Curzon Wimbledon runs three screening rooms refurbished with reclining seats, wide armrests, and personal side tables. Staff take orders and serve drinks and snacks to seats during films. The upstairs lounge offers wine and light food before screenings. The venue is small and intimate β a deliberate contrast to the Odeon adjacent on the same street. Ticket price difference versus nearby multiplexes is minimal for the uplift in experience.
