1 / 2Danson Park Playground
đ London, Greater London
Compact and well-used playground with a splash area, varied equipment for mixed ages, picnic tables within the fenced area, and free early morning car parking. Fairground rides available in the wider park.
Fantastic place for taking your toddler to. The place is not very big but it is very lively, fun and free . We got there before 10 and because there was no ticket guy at the car park yet we parked for free , so get there early to avoid paying parking as there is no parking machine, just a guy selling tickets. Make sure you get a towel and some spare clothes for your toddler as they will play in the splash area and get wet. Our 2,5 year old absolutely loved it and we struggled to drag him away from the splash area. The other play areas are nice too and not very expensive. Park is huge and not much to see but it's a nice breath of fresh air. I saw some people fishing as well so that might be a good idea for the future. Overall , very lovely Sunday out with our lovely boy
đ Family Action Verdict
A reliable local playground for families with toddlers and younger children, with the splash pad as the main draw in warmer months. Arrive early to use the free parking. The fenced layout with internal picnic tables makes it practical for longer stays with food.

âLovely park with a variety of equipment for children of all ages. There are picnic spots and tables within the fenced area so the family can set up lunch and let the little ones play nearby. Parking on the nearby main road is free, but spaces are limited. Parking within the park is free weekdays (excluding bank holiday). Lovely nature trails for a stroll and a nice restaurant and formal garden are nearby also.â
