1 / 2Dartmouth Park Pavilion Child Play Area
đ West Bromwich, West Midlands
Playground specifically designed for very young children under 3, featuring a sandpit, summer splash pad, small slides, and safe climbing equipment. Pavilion with toilets and refreshments is adjacent; all-day parking available nearby.
There are some great little child's swings and water features here. There is also a sandbed where children can play it and if they fall over don't hurt themselves. The rules of st Benedict and the pavilion close by for toilets and refreshments. this is especially nice in the summer as there is a water feature where children can pump water up and see how it flows also a little slide and some rockin apparatus.
đ Family Action Verdict
Specifically excellent for families with children under 3. The sandpit and splash pad combination delivers extended play time â reviewers regularly clock 2-plus hours â and the scale of the equipment means very young children can explore independently. The wider Dartmouth Park adds value for parents who want a walk as little ones tire out.

âThis park is quite large with a children's play area & a boating lake but the boats are only available at weekend's. There are lots of benches dotted around the park if get tired. There is also a nature trail if your interested. Parking is very cheap for ÂŖ2 you can park all day, take some bread or grain to feed the ducks & birds. Well worth a vist.â

âThis small playground is ideal for the very small children. My 16 month old can't do much in most playgrounds, but had hours of fun playing in the sand here and crawling/cruising up the small framed thing and the slide was small enough for her (she slid down laying down face first on her own dozens of times). Obviously got the walks etc tooâ

âThis is a great spot to take children, there are so many things for them to play on, you can keep them occupied for ages. There are normally ice cream and hot dog vans nearby. The splash pad is probably the main feature in the summer. There's a more adult fitness area sponsored by Adidas and put in place in honour of the 2012 Olympics.â
