Drury Lane Playground
đ London, Greater London
Secluded free playground just off Covent Garden featuring swings, slides, a multisports area, a small garden, and toilet facilities. Suits children under 12 and works well as a break from shopping or theatre visits nearby.
A great little spot just off Covent Garden - playground is mainly for younger children. Was very well maintained, had a small garden too, as well as a multisports area.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 2â11 who need a calm outdoor break during a Covent Garden day out. The enclosed, shaded setting suits longer stays â parents report comfortable visits of two hours or more. Children under 2 may find the equipment less engaging, and older tweens will quickly exhaust the options.

âHidden gem in Covent Garden! As many said it's not easy to spot such a beautiful, secluded playground in this area. Lots to play with for toddlers and little kids, toilets are also here ( closed for cleaning while I was passing by) . There is also lot of trees that can be convenient for shadows if hot weather like today. We spent almost 2 hours with our kids here and we sat on the benches and had a coffee. Amazing place!â

âIt's quite difficult to find a playground not far from Covent Garden so this one is a treasure! Drury Lane Playground has enough play equipment and territory for under 12's. However, it might be less interesting for toddlers. It is a good point for going after school and having fun after shopping nearby. Highly recommended!â
