Best for families with older children who will get genuine use from the sports courts and football pitch. The playground is small and basic â younger children will exhaust it quickly. Dog mess and litter are persistent enough that parents should keep an eye on where young children play.

âWell maintained and tidy park. Small play area for young children. Some issues with dog poo sadly.â

âThe council employees responsible for this park have their work cut out looking after this park with unsociable behaviour and litter caused by some people (kids). Well done for making it a pleasant environment for the rest of us that use it!â

âHas the potential to be a nice park but is too full of little. Tobacco packets and beer cans in the children's play area is just not nice.â

Overview
The park covers a range of activity types: a small playground with swings for younger children, a bowling green, tennis courts, and a football pitch for older kids and adults. Free entry and pram-accessible paths make it accessible to all. Litter is a recurring issue flagged across multiple reviews â council maintenance helps and the situation resets quickly after busy periods. Dog mess in some areas requires supervision.
