“Pool is great, but unfortunately there is nowhere near enough parking for the number of people coming by car - not helped by what looks like nearby residents seemingly using the car park to park their cars (pop by first thing in the morning before the centre is even open, and you'll be amazed how many cars are in the car park!). Many evenings you'll struggle to park, and with very little alternative parking nearby, it can be a major problem. Parking related road rage has even happened! Hopefully the opening of the new centre in Marple late 2026 will help reduce demand a little but if you're lucky enough to be able to walk, I strongly suggest you do!”

“Romiley is gym to me isn't that big enough to me the other wall ware it is when you push the weight box ware you put rope on it I couldn't do it as you post to do it I was cramb with wall is, otherwise physically interacted people in Romiley gym have a good life relationship with others around & talking with others & does billd on good friends around like put with some good Romiley gym guys & women & the swimming pool is great & the sauna and steam room is brilliant & excellent ready after your workout”

“We have swimming lessons here. It is absolutely awful. They have too many lessons running in parallel and leave no gaps between a session ending and another one starting. This means that you will frequently be unable to park and miss the beginning of lessons, you will frequently not be able to sit in the viewing area while your child is in a lesson and you will frequently be unable to find a changing room before or after a swimming lesson. The whole set up is very poorly organised. If you are planning on using the pool or the gym, I would look elsewhere.”

“Overcrowded swimming times at weekend, healthy and safety would have a field day. Inadequate changing rooms given the amount of classes that ae on at any one time. You cant watch your children due to the inadequate seating. You can't park anywhere because of the inadequate parking, often many cars parking on double yellows outside or even parking at Aldi across a busy main road. Next to no seating at the main entrance. All in all, pretty poor management of what could be a great little facility.”
