Lorraine is a fantastic teacher. I started to take my 5 year old for lessons this summer, though I know she teaches adults as well. There are important techniques, positions and movements, as well as crucial safety tips, that a teacher can really help with - Lorraine is a natural at doing this through games and play with my daughter, so she doesn't even realise she is learning. She has a glorious setting by the Serpentine in Hyde Park where she teaches early morning before it gets busy. She is always quick to respond to messages and has always been early for our lessons.

“I rather recklessly took up in- line skating when I was 67 not expecting to achieve much. I was very fortunate to discover the unsuspecting Lorraine: little did she know what her challenge would be! Thanks to her truly rigorous tuition, I have now learned the freedom and joy of in-line skating. Lorraine is sensitive to her student’s individual needs; she is patient, clear and has a really good sense of humour. Her instruction is extremely methodical, rigorous and thorough. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Lorraine is an amazing teacher and all-round wonderful person. I started skating from scratch with her (barely able to balance) and now I'm able to enjoy skating with confidence in my technique that Lorraine has helped me to develop. Lorraine's seemingly endless energy and great skating knowledge, combined with her attentive approach to teaching has meant that I've been able to effectively learn skills while also having fun! If you're looking for a skate teacher in London I would highly recommend Lorraine.”

“Being able to finally take up roller skating lessons with Lorraine has been one of the better decisions I made this year. With all of the time I had spare because of COVID-19, taking lessons for a hobby I’ve always been interested in made sense and I’m so happy I chose London Skate Crew to learn. Lorraine is so kind and patient with the learning experience, making sure proper safety, form and technique is being used while I attempt to look graceful on these skates 🛼🛼.
