Great place to come if you have young children who love to explore! I like the Friday morning sessions for toddlers as weekends get quite busy as you can imagine. I regularly come here with my son who loves playing in the mud kitchen, sandpit, tree house and the duck fishing water area. The staff here are super friendly. They also serve tea and coffee (they take donations). I think they have some children's wellies etc if you need too.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with toddlers and young children who thrive in unstructured, messy outdoor play rather than conventional equipment. The mud kitchen, sandpit, and water play areas are the core draws. Staff engagement is active and intentional, making the space particularly accessible for children with additional needs including autism.

β€œIt is what the name suggests! An Oasis! Really nice place, always very cool to the point that can feel a bit cold even in the summer”

Overview

Oasis Nature Garden runs structured free sessions rather than open-access play. Under-5s attend with parents during term-time sessions; ages 5-12 can join after-school programmes. Community Saturdays open the garden more broadly. Staff actively lead pond-dipping, bug-hunting, and environmental activities. The garden stays noticeably cool even in summer. Tea and coffee available for donations.
