âThis park is very nice, it's great for dog walking, exercising, playing football and cricket. There is a small playground for children in this park.â

âIt's a decent park. I like taking my dog for walks here. My only issue is that the children's play area is all on grass, so in the winter it becomes very muddy and waterlogged in places. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for this. It has a football/basket ball court at the back of the park, it has a nature reserve bit behind the ball court. There's gym equipment, but again on the grass and it becomes very muddy there. The path all the way around the park is a running track for joggers. There are also two football pitches, one small one for smaller children and a bigger one for older/adults. Lastly it has its own dog walking area which is well kept except some irresponsible dog owner keeps allowing their dog to dig holes, theres signs up telling dog owners not to allow their dogs to dig, but it keeps happening. It becomes dangerous when the grass grows a bit long and dogs are chasing each other and they can't see the holes properly. It's only a matter of time before we hear of a dog breaking its leg or worse. Glendale who keeps the park, continuously fill these holes and they appear again a month or two later.â

âA popular local green space in Grove Park, Northbrook Park is a well-used spot for residents. The track around the edge of the park is exactly 1/3 of a mile, making it a popular and convenient place for a jog. The park is equipped with amenities including a children's playground, tennis courts, and an outdoor gym. While it's a functional and convenient space, some visitors might feel the small play area has seen better days. The dog walking area is a nice addition.â

Overview
Northbrook Park covers playground equipment, a large outdoor gym including a zip wire, football and basketball courts, cricket facilities, tennis courts, and a 1/3-mile perimeter track popular with joggers. At the rear, a dedicated dog area and a nature discovery section for children sit alongside each other. All play surfaces are grass-based, which makes the area muddy and waterlogged during wet weather. Free parking is available adjacent to the park.
