1 / 2Mountsfield Park Playground
đ London, Greater London
Spacious green park in Lewisham with open space for walking and dog exercise. Playground equipment is reported to be old and in poor repair, making it more suitable for general outdoor time than structured play.
Nice park, but hopefully one day there will be nice cafe, outdoor sport equipments for different ages groups.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a pleasant green space for walks and outdoor time rather than structured playground activities. Children who are happy to run freely in open parkland will enjoy it. Those expecting serviceable play equipment may be disappointed given reported maintenance shortfalls.

âThe oldest, most broken and dangerous playground that has'n been repaired un years. BORING COLOURS AND RUBBISH IN THE SAND!That's so disappointing as the park is quite nice..but the playground for kids is disgusting!â

Overview
Mountsfield Park is a well-maintained green space in Lewisham regularly used for dog walking and casual outdoor recreation. The broader parkland is clean and pleasant. The playground section, by contrast, has received critical reviews for aged, broken equipment and cleanliness issues in sand areas. Families visiting specifically for the playground should set expectations accordingly, as the park's main value lies in its open green space.
