1 / 3Scotstoun Leisure centre
đ Glasgow, Central Scotland
Glasgow Club Scotstoun combines a swimming pool, large gym, extensive weekly fitness class programme and the National Badminton Centre in one facility. Kids' football camps and recreational swim sessions run alongside adult programming.
A Fantastic Experience at Scotstoun! Scotstoun offers truly great facilities that make every visit a pleasure. The range of classes available is impressive, catering to all interests and fitness levels. While the popularity of certain classes means booking ahead is essential, it just speaks to the high demand and quality of the sessions! It's a minor hurdle that highlights how much members value the offerings here. The community spirit is generally high, with most members showing great consideration for their fellow fitness enthusiasts. Like any busy center, there are occasional missed classes, but the overall atmosphere at Scotstoun remains vibrant and dedicated, full of people keen to make the most of the excellent opportunities provided. Highly recommended!
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for active families who want one venue covering multiple sports â swimming, gym, badminton and organised classes all under one roof. Popular classes fill fast so booking ahead is essential. Staff quality varies across different zones of the building, and cafe service can be slow during peak periods.

âAlways good for a Warriors match but we were on the other side for the match versus Sharks from Durban. I was a little surprised that the sell out attendance was just 7,200 when we have been there at 10,000+ attendances ... đ¤đ¤ˇđģââī¸đ¯đ¤Ļđģââī¸đ¤Ģâ

âFacilities are good. Games hall floor is not great, not ideal for badminton as floor is quite slippery (newly laid floor). Not kept clean, dust and dirt on floor. Courts in the badminton academy are much better.â

âLovely, bright venue that is warm and inviting. The menu is varied and prices competative. However, the venue is marred by the fact the service is slow and the staff group seem desperate to close ie they start stacking chairs between 90 minutes to 2 hours prior to closure time. The chairs get dragged noisely across the floor making conversation difficult. I could not recommend this venue for quiet lunch or chat. Perhaps some basic staff training would help address some of the issues in this cafe.â
