1 / 2Glasgow Club Springburn
π Glasgow, Central Scotland
Glasgow Club Springburn offers swimming, a modern gym, and fitness classes including BODYPUMP, BODYCOMBAT, and cycling. Welcoming to beginners and those with accessibility needs, with pay-as-you-go and membership options.
I started back swimming following a long period of working from home and gained alot of weight and very low fitness level. I was welcomed by all staff from reception to pool side who were smiling even at 6.15am in the morning. The other costumers where so friendly and helpful keeping me right where everything was as my first time in the leisure centre. Also provided support of encouragement in the pool. What a lovely experience
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a community-focused leisure centre with genuinely supportive staff. The welcoming approach makes it a strong choice for those returning to fitness or managing health conditions. Changing room standards are variable β check before committing to a membership.

βThe gym is great , sturdy equipment . The classes they provide are fantastic, the place always clean and smell good. The staff are very kind and polite . If they just keep the music down And not put the same music for the whole year it would the best gym ever existed.β

βOnly just started using the gym here, which to be fair is quite nice, good range of equipment etc, and not too busy in the mornings. Where it falls short is cleanliness, the changing rooms and showers are pretty disgusting, and inside some of the shower cubicles are covered in mould. Been noticing this a lot with Glasgow Club facilities, hygiene does not seem to be a priority π£β
Reviews from Google
Overview
The centre runs a full class timetable alongside pool sessions and a gym floor with cardio and strength equipment. Disability-supported sessions and family-friendly courts are available. Staff receive strong individual praise β particularly for going above and beyond with first-time visitors and members with health conditions. Changing room cleanliness is flagged inconsistently across reviews, with mould reported in some shower cubicles. Gym music repetition is a minor and recurring comment.
