1 / 2Tooting Triangle Playground
📍 London, Greater London
Fenced London playground with a large sandpit, climbing frames, swings, and toddler-friendly equipment. Sand toys are provided on-site. No dogs permitted. No slides and no toilets on-site.
Really nice and big sand pit, feels like being on the beach when it's a hot day. Sand toys available there but you could bring ur own. It's a closed, fenced playground and no dogs allowed so great! There's swings, good benches to sit on, climbing frames for bigger children. No slides but it was so good that we'll forgive them for that lol. There's a good amount of shade too if you do not want to be directly under the heat. And if you get bored of it you can simply explore the rest of Tooting Bec common! A train track nearby so my son likes watching the trains pass by. Balham Stations and bus stops nearby (15-20 min walk away)
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and children who love sand play — the sandpit is the main draw and creates a beach-like atmosphere on warm days. The fully fenced, dog-free space gives parents confidence for younger children. Families expecting a full playground with slides will need to adjust expectations.

“Used to play here when I lived in streatham in the 70's. We used to cycle down and watch the trains, if we were really lucky we would catch a steam train but there weren't many left. It's obviously changed a hell of a lot since I was a lad. Nice to see It's still going strong.”
