1 / 3Wandsworth Common
📍 London, Greater London
Large urban common in South West London featuring scenic ponds with geese and ducks, wooded walking paths, children's play areas, pram-friendly routes, and a café. Dog-friendly with designated on-leash and off-leash sections.
I walked by this park by accident. I got off the wrong bus stop and needed to walk walk back quite a way. My favourite parks are those with a lake or pond and some geese. This may be my favourite on the SW. It's huge and so green with numerous places to picnic, excersize, or chill on a bench with a book. The highlight is the beautiful little pond with ducks and geese. I plan to go back asap.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families in the SW London area wanting a genuinely spacious green escape for toddlers through teens. The pond area is the standout — younger children love watching the waterfowl at close range. Bring a picnic blanket and plan to stay a few hours.
