Newly redone playground, which is now really nice. It does get very crowded on nice days in the weekend so get there early. Next to the playground you can also find a caged football pitch with a synthetic surface. Very useful for wet days.

âWell equipped space for kids up to about 10. Ice cream van is a bonus when it shows up! Properly sprung floor is also welcome for adventurous little ones.â

âi have given 3 stars because there are planned works for the 23 April 2019 and having been a resident in the area for 26 years the playground was long overdue a refurbishment as it has been there since the 70's and not much has changed since.But looking forward to the new playground.â

Chivalry Road Playground completed a full renovation recently, delivering modern equipment pitched mainly at ages 4-10 alongside a quieter toddler zone at the back. Adjacent caged football pitch with synthetic turf extends the activity options, especially useful in wet weather. Well-sprung safety flooring throughout. An ice cream van appears on warmer days.
