Wonderful local playground for toddlers and younger kids (1 – 5 years). There are 2 infant swings, a seesaw, and a climbing structure with slide. There's also a decent amount of open green space to play on, all easily in view of the numerous benches for tired parents. Can get busy at weekends, and after any children's events at the library across the road.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Suited to families with toddlers and preschoolers aged 1–5 who want a safe, fenced local playground. Weekday mornings and lunchtimes are noticeably quieter. After-school and weekend peak times bring crowds. Bring wellies and waterproof trousers in wet months — the surrounding grass turns muddy.

Great for little ones aged 1 to 3 years old. 2 bucket swings, one recently replaced, and a central climbing structure with stairs, a slide, a tunnel, and connecting walkways. Opposite the Belsize Park library. Can be heaving at peak times but generally pretty quiet during lunchtime and early mornings. Also large grassy area contained in the same fence for ball play, picnic blankets, or just running around. Multiple bins and 2 wooden benches for relaxed observation.

Great playground for toddlers it also has a nice little fenced park around it. It gets very muddy and wet over the rainy seasons, so remember to bring wellies and rainproof trousers for your little one.
