The park is a hidden gem for families. The vibrant, eco-friendly design seamlessly blends with nature, providing a delightful play experience for kids. The variety of equipment encourages imaginative play, and the lush surroundings make it a perfect escape. Highly recommend it for a fun-filled day outdoors!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for active families who want genuine woodland rather than manicured parkland. The 5km loop is manageable for children aged 5 and up on bikes or with a slow adult pace. The playground suits ages 3-10 alongside the outdoor gym for parents. Foraging in late summer and autumn adds an educational layer.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Gates are locked at sunset — time your visit to exit before dusk
⏰Late summer brings blackberries, sloes, and apples along the orchard paths for foraging
đŸŽŸī¸Bikes and scooters work well on the paved path sections of the 5km loop
🚗BBQs and open fires are not permitted anywhere in the park

“I love taking a walk with the family here. Plenty of options in terms of the kind of walk you want to have and the possible paths to take. There's an outdoor gym and play area as well. Plenty of runners, cyclists, dog walkers and berry pickers.”

“Closest large green area to where I've been stopping. Been making a fairly regular loop of the park around 5km. It's a mixture of old woodland and open area with part of an old orchard. Lots of blackberries, sloe, apples at the right seasons.”
