1 / 3Cricklewood Playground and Basketball Court
📍 London, Greater London
Modern playground in Cricklewood featuring zip lines, slides, tunnels, swings and picnic tables, plus an adjacent full-size basketball court. More varied than standard park setups, set on an uphill site.
The park is not the biggest, but it definitely has a variety of activities to do. It beats some of the larger parks that has the standard swing and seesaw and maybe one little activity feature... Kids love the zip line feature in this park and there is adequate seating for adults. Again this will be one of my fav parks to visit
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for active children who want more than a standard swing-and-slide setup. The zip lines are the standout feature for school-age kids. The basketball court extends the visit for older children and teenagers. Families pushing buggies should account for the uphill approach. Cleanliness is most reliable on weekday mornings.

“Great modern playground with swings, zipline, slides and tunnels. There are picnic tables there as well. You need to go uphill to get there, so you might need to push your child on a scooter.”

Overview
Cricklewood Playground sits uphill from street level and features modern play equipment — zip lines, slides, tunnels, and swings — that delivers more variety than typical London park installations. Picnic tables are available for family meals. The adjacent basketball court serves older children and teenagers. The site is publicly accessible with adult seating around the perimeter. Maintenance and cleanliness standards vary — weekend mornings can bring litter from evening use.
