đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of all ages on warm days â the paddling pool, playground, and open grass give different age groups space to spread out. Dog-friendly with river walks that extend naturally beyond the main play area. Works as a half-day or full-day outing with cafe and toilet facilities on site.

âLovely place for a hot day, especially for families with little children as there is a paddling pool, a cafe and a playground all in one area. Great for walking dogs as there is plenty of grass, or for a walk along the Thames. Cute fruit trees growing all around.â

âDukes Meadows includes an extensive area, including the recreation ground (shown on some maps as Riverside Recreation Ground), and the riverside walk between there and Chiswick Bridge, now linked together by the new footbridge under the Barnes railway bridge.â

Dukes Meadows stretches along the riverside between Chiswick Bridge and the recreation ground, connected by a footbridge under Barnes railway bridge. The site combines a paddling pool, playground equipment, extensive grass areas for picnics, and a cafe. Fruit trees dot the grounds, and the Thames towpath extends the visit for walkers.
