Brilliant recreation park, took my grandson today, we haven't been for a long time and was very pleasantly surprised how wonderful it is, the park and exercise/gym area are excellent, the tennis court is a great way to burn off some energy, also he loved trying to see the birds in the sanctuary . Really great for all the local children to have such a lovely place on their doorstep.

An excellent all-round park for families with children of varying ages. Younger children use the play area; older children and teens have the caged sports zones and tennis court; parents can use the outdoor gym alongside. The bird sanctuary adds a nature element that works well for curious children. Underused relative to its quality â rarely busy.

âI have lived in the surrounding area my whole life and didn't even know this gem of park and pavilion existed! Excellent play par for the kids, gym equipment is aplenty and its nice to see the bowling greens kept in great shape :)â
