Ice skating at Wimbledon Quarter

“A Christmas treat for the family and our two boys’ first time on the ice. All I can say is that Wimbledon Ice Rink was perfect. The staff were genuinely helpful and even spent time teaching the boys to skate. The session was long enough to feel like real value for money, and the atmosphere absolutely put us in the Christmas spirit. A++ from me.”

“Overall, the rink offers a good experience with friendly staff and well-maintained ice. However, as someone unfamiliar with the venue before booking (there were no photos either), I was surprised by how small the rink is and its primary focus on children and beginner skaters with aids. For avid skaters like myself who prefer more space for swift movement, the combination of a small rink and young learners makes it difficult to skate freely. While the setup is excellent for beginners, clearer information online about the rink’s size and audience would help manage expectations and guide experienced skaters to more suitable venues.”

“Overall we enjoyed our visit and thought it was good value. Small rink, but good for 45 minutes. Main reason why only rated three stars is that the experience was made much worse due to the staff skating very fast and aggressively around us and the children the entire time. My 6 year old even said why is he skating so fast, it’s scary. Was a bit sad given it’s a small rink in a shopping centre, so no real need to show off how fast you can go?”
