1 / 2Kershaw Playground
đ Manchester, North West
A neighbourhood playground with access to surrounding walking and MTB trails. Equipment is outdated and reviewers note litter, making it better suited to daytime visits with older children.
Good walks around here and mtb trails kids like the park
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families who are already exploring the local walking or MTB trails and want a play stop for children. Daytime visits work well for primary-age children. Evening visits are less suitable as the site attracts teenagers. Equipment quality is modest â combine with trail time to get the most from the location.

âThis would be a lovely little playground apart from it has been spoilt by teenagers, who hang round in the evening there. So be warned if you take your child there be extra vigilant before they touch anything as you never know what's been put on the equipment. Still it's the only playground in the area and very popular with the locals. Needs noor benches for parents.â

Overview
Kershaw Playground sits alongside walking paths and mountain bike trails, making it a practical stopping point for active family outings. The play equipment is functional and has not been significantly updated in recent years. Reviewers mention litter accumulation and, in evenings, groups of teenagers using the site, which some parents find makes the environment less comfortable for younger children.
