1 / 3Mellison Road Pocket Park
📍 London, Greater London
A small neighbourhood playground featuring wooden climbing frames with ropes, a slide, mini trampoline, small bridge and tree stumps on artificial grass. Works well for children aged 3–10 who can navigate equipment independently.
We love the pocket park. Although it’s small and no swings it does have a slide, some ropes to climb, a mini trampoline, tree stumps and a little cute bridge. Lots of regular parents go there and it has a more community feel because it’s quite an intimate park. It issues a lot of wooden features and is well maintained. It’s best for under 10’s.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 3–10 who can manage climbing independently. The wooden features and artificial grass surface are particularly appealing on dry sunny days. No swings are available, so families who rely on them for younger or less mobile children should factor that in.

“A new, small playground for toddlers and young children. Some bench seating for carers. Includes a wooden climbing frame with ropes and a slide, trampoline, a small wooden bridge and artificial grass. Over all a nice little playground, well constructed, lovely on a sunny day. One minor criticism is that the littlest kids cannot climb up to use the slide by themselves.”
