β€œSimple cinema, trying to survive the aggressive changes of social media networks and technologies... Not extremely fancy, not major renovations, it's a pity to see the decline of cinematic era... Been there several times for different movies premiere... The staff been always friendly and the place is kept as clean as can be... You can park at Sainsbury's as 1 minute walk, or within walking distance. Will go there until it's last...”

β€œWe watched Avatar -Fire and Ash and it was a bad decision. The producers should seriously consider the quality of the screens before allowing these cinemas to screen movies. Screen 4 did not do the justice for the movie at all. High time you replace your screens or just reduce the price simply. In that way audience at least can adjust their expectations. Most disappointing Odeon I have ever visited. Not recommended.”

β€œi went here to watch materialists and previously went to watch jurassic world rebirth a few weeks prior too- i’ve always heard good things about odeon growing up but it seems they have really died down recently- the whole place was quite run down and extremely outdated- it didn’t feel welcoming at all you kind of just want to get in there watch what you’ve come to see and get out of there as soon as you can. the seating arrangement feels really rubbish too it’s all one level with not the best access- the seats can smell too πŸ˜– and you have to break your neck for the duration of the film to look up if you want to get an affordable seat. for them charging such high prices it’s quite frustrating to see how it is compared to other cinemas like vue whic charger (mostly) under Β£10 for a good experience and also other independent cinemas too. it really needs some maintenance or some kind of makeover- same goes for the lee valley one. i’m sure they have great potential as you can see in the leicester square branch so i do hope they improve soon!”

Overview

ODEON South Woodford is a neighbourhood cinema serving East London families with current mainstream releases. Cafe, parking, and pram access are available. Staff consistently receive positive marks for courtesy and professionalism. Screen quality is uneven across the building β€” Screen 4 has been specifically flagged by reviewers as below standard for larger films. Seating in some screens creates sightline difficulties due to the tiered arrangement.
