1 / 2Splash Pad Clissold Park
đ London, Greater London
Free outdoor water play area in Clissold Park with separate features for toddlers and older children, plus a gated perimeter for safety. Open in summer with a refreshment kiosk and birthday party packages via Better.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND for the summer with your toddler. Great experience fun for both you and your little one. Very clean, busy but safe and you can get your little one to do all the splashing they want. There is only one gate to enter and exit so make sure when you come in not to let the little ones escape. The is water fountains for the toddlers as well as the older kids, either way it's a great day out and you will also have fun. (Do bring your own food for a picnic after as the kids will be hungry) Right next to the Splash pad are toilets for you to change too. I love that this is a free activity and very spacious. You can meet and make many new parent friends here and if very lovely. You can take the bus to the park or even walk here. We got here from Stoke Newington town hall where there main road is.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and young children on hot summer days. The gated layout lets kids splash freely without wandering into the wider park, and the separate zones for different ages mean younger and older siblings can both find their level. Bring your own snacks â on-site refreshment prices are high.

âLove that it has different things for younger kids and older kids. When we went, everyone including adults took off their shoes so it was so clean, no grass or dirt, etc which was great considering it's outdoors! They have 4 toilets right at the entrance of the splash pad, one with facilities for baby changing. They also have a little cafe next to the toilets.â

âWe live visiting this park as we have failing in Islington and it's not too far to walk and enjoy. This latest visit although there's been lots of improvements it did seem a little more worn than usual, especially the play park and scaffolded areas, even the deer and animal area looked a bit empty but we still throughly enjoyed it!â
