1 / 2The Cove Playground
đ London, Greater London
Free outdoor playground at the National Maritime Museum featuring a multi-level pirate ship, giant kraken tentacle nets, shark climbing structure, and a trampoline. Accessible ramps and sensory elements included.
Amazing outdoor play- very fresh- appears to be newly built. It is free of cost to enter- and has good challenging things to do. There is a restaurant next to it with food and coffee/tea availability. One can easily spend 1 hour at the Cove. It gets busy- but doesnt feel crowded. Definitely recommend it if you are visiting Greenwich Park or the Maritime Museum.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged 4-12 who are confident climbers and love themed adventure play. The pirate ship upper decks and kraken nets require balance and upper-body strength â toddlers under 3 can access the trampoline and lower ramps safely with close supervision. Pairs well with Greenwich Park and the Maritime Museum for a full-day outing.

âA fantastic little playground. Lots of shaded seating for parents. The playground is fantastic for young kids. So much to climb on and so many slides and fun designs. Really well thought out park. There was also a little coffee cart setup in front of the playground.â

âBeautiful playground for kids between 4 and 12. When my daughter was 2-3, she could only jump on the trampoline, climb on the wooden plane and play some music. Bigger kids enjoy it moreâ

âI love this playground. Cool, big enough and really cute. If your kid loves boats, trampolines and slides, this place is definitely worth it.â
