Vue Cinema Croydon - Purley Way

“Very driendly and approachable staff. In particular I wanted to mention the lady that spoke to me about assistance they can provide for kids during a mid-film bathroom break for my daughter. It was a personal touch that I really appreciated. Hope to be back again soon!”

“Wanted to try the new ultra lux seats at VUE but the seating map for screen 5 is misleading. We booked seats 11 and 12 and the seat map makes it look like those seats are centre but when we actually get there, those seats are too far right and off centre and definitely not in the middle like the map suggests.”

“What can I say? The seats are amazing and comfortable. You do pay for the luxury of those seats and so it is okay to expect good service. However, everything else is rather lacking. 1. Service: I've ordered nachos and get asked questions I've never been asked before and expected to know for example what flavour nachos. When I ask what flavours it's met with attitude. No one hardly mans the cinema screens, which means people come into the cinema who don't have tickets..how do I know? Because I check the app for the seats purchased. I was shouted at for being on my phone for a few seconds when knowing was sitting behind me. Never seen anyone else been told they cannot use it and seen plenty do it When I raised complaint to the cinema about people being In our seats and a family being in the cinema when they shouldn't, they didn't seem to care. Food: the nachos are not great. The nachos cheese sauce has a horrible taste to it and so I don't purchase nachos anymore here. I think this is a Vue issue. But it doesn't taste clean..maybe serve closed cheese sauces. Odeon have it right with the cheese sauce. Cinema: people keep coming into the cinemas undetected. In one show we had a family take up all the free back seats and ultra lux seats making noises throughout and having 3 people in two seats. Another time someone was sitting in our ultra lux seats eating McDonald's and made a mess. It took us 2 times to get them to move..they then proceeded to move to another seat next to use which someone else had booked and asked them to move. Why is this happening so often? And why is the cinema not manning the screens?”

“I love this Vue cinema and I always visit here, but today I am so upset with this manger’s jon, rude unkind he chose to say I can’t bring food in because it five guys but another day I was here they was okay to bring chips and burgers. And today just bought some chips and a small burger for my baby girl she hungry and he said it smelly and it 🥜 have nuts so am not allowed to bring in but it don’t have any nut, and he tell me to Eat it or bins it !!! I wish one day when he have kids and someone else do this to him and he know how it feel… very unkind man!!! I hope you happy now!!! I am not coming here any more!!!!”
