1 / 3Vue Cinema London - Finchley Road
📍 London, Greater London
Vue Finchley Road sits inside the O2 Centre with parking and pram access. Staff receive consistent praise. Seating and temperature control have drawn repeated complaints from families.
The two employees that opened the store today were absolutely lovely. Best customer service I’ve experienced and made it by far my best experience I’ve had at the Vue or any theatre for that matter. They were so kind when making our food and ringing us up all the while opening the store it was really impressive and deserving of every praise.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families who prioritise staff support and accessibility over premium comfort. The helpful team makes visits with young children easier. Families attending long films should bring an extra layer as temperature control has been a repeated complaint.

“So my wife and I went to view to watch Avatar 3 Ash and Fire. On the 3rd of January for 1815 showing, we were greeted by the duty manager Georgie who is a very good representative for Vue cinema. We had literally come across from Wood Green, where we had booked tickets for the same movie showcasing at 17:10. Upon going into Wood Green cinema it became apparent the venue was terrible so we left within a couple of minutes. We explained to Georgie that we had just come across from a different site operated by Vue and we were appalled by the condition of it and really disappointed in the way that the complex was maintained. He put our minds at ease. He understood and listened to our complaints and apologised o behalf of the company. He changed our whole night and the atmosphere that we were in. The venue was well kept and clean we were in screen number 11. The seats were dated and carpets needed changing but the place was clean. Toilets were small and busy but in good order. Staff were attentive and queues weren’t long in the foyer. Paid car parking at the rear of the site. We would visit again.”

“Went downhill - dirty entrance, theater and seats (pop corn, dust etc.). Seat cushions desperately need replacement and seat overall is not comfortable (not enough recline). Screen 6, row J even has some missing tiles on the floor… If anyone reads this, this theater really needs an UPGRADE and proper CLEANING. Still decent value as they have many offers - e.g., O2 priority £9 for 2 tickets (don’t pay full price!) - but it does feel like a low-cost experience.”

“Been using this cinema for years but recently I've noticed the seats are beyond filthy. I understand that people leave a lot of mess, but cinema should do some deep clean every now and then. Went to see Avatar on Thursday and couldn't sit on my chosen seats as it was extremely dirty. Luckily the was more free seats to chose from, but if it was a packed screen, I'd leave. Absolutely disgusting. Another thing - they accept cash but barely every have change.”
