Deen City Farm
📍 London, Greater London
Hands-on animal encounters, pony rides for ages 2–7, a riding school, and birthday parties with decorated rooms. Volunteer-run charity on the scenic Wandle Trail with a café and free parking.
An absolute gem of a place! My little girl (16 months old) had an amazing couple of hours here! She loved stroking the rabbits and seeing the different chickens. Bought some bits in the little shop. I had no qualms in donating a good amount because the car park is free, the entry is free, and her smile was priceless! To the people complaining that the animals "don't look happy", this is real life, not a Disney film. In those movies, the animals smile and talk, in real life- they don't. Stop being petulant little mugs and give this place the 5* it deserves! Shoutout all the volunteers keeping this place going 🥇
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Toddlers and children under 8 get the most from this farm — hands-on animal contact, pony rides, and a genuine working-farm atmosphere that indoor play centres can't replicate. Muddy paths and cold weather reduce the experience significantly, so warm dry days are when it shines. Book pony rides before arriving.

“Nice farm, the access is free but they really appreciate donations for helping the farm and the animals! There’s a nice little play area with wooden playground activities for kids, and close to that some picnic tables, and a nice cafe with indoor seats too. You can also buy food for feeding sheep and goats, there are several animals and there’s a chance to prebook activities to do with some of the animals (including riding horses/pony!) It’s a nice place to go to, even for a couple of hours :) Don’t forget your wellies if there’s been a rainy weather before, it can be quite muddy (but still fun!)”

“Very cute farm with horse rides my kids enjoyed it. ( horse rides need advanced booking ) Also the walk to the farm is very beautiful. People who love nature walks I total recommend this place. The staff in the cafe could have been more friendly but other wise all good xx”

“I finally visited after this being on my list for a long time. Unfortunately, coming in the winter when it's about 2°C outdoors isn't the best idea. Entrance is free with an optional donation. Though it's not that close to public transport, about 10-12 minutes away from the closest bus stop. It is next to a big park (Morden). I liked the goats, they're always friendly in any farm I go to. I didn't even have any gist food and they still came up to be stroked. I did not see many other animals, possibly due to the cold. I saw chickens, a quail, a pheasant, horses (being ridden), cows, rabbits. Even a skittish cat. There is a cafe and working toilets. And a small gift shop with plenty of children's books and paraphernalia. I am sure I will visit again on a summer day so I could encounter more animals such as alpacas, and enjoy it more when it's not so freezing. And hope to give a higher rating too.”
