1 / 3Gloucester Gate Playground
π London, Greater London
Renovated playground in Regent's Park featuring a 50-metre zip line, bespoke natural-material climbing equipment, and a sand and water play area. Toddler zones through to challenging structures for older children. Free entry.
Great playground in Regents Park for children of all ages! Picnic benches provided. The kids loved the zip line and obstacle courses. Surrounded by large green space great for picnicking and passing a ball. Bathrooms were sized for children. Larger bathrooms near the zoo for adults. Water bottle filling stations inside the childrenβs bathroom. We will definitely visit again! Only downside is we did not see trash or recycling bins near the playground. Park was still very clean and litter free!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children spanning toddler to primary school age who want varied, adventurous play in a park setting. The zip line is the headline draw and works well for mixed age groups. Sand area supervision is important β rocks in the sand are camouflaged and have caused slips.

βWhat a great park for kids of all ages. Love the sand area and zip lines. We were visiting from out of town for a week and spent several days here with our 2.5 and 4.5 year old, they kept asking to go back! Doesnβt hurt thereβs a cafe about 20m away!β

βBeautiful park - recently renovated. Has a water and sand play area. Swings, sea saw and a zip line too. Not very crowded. The one downside is that the toilets are filthy. Also there is no cafe nearbyβ

βAs others have mentioned, much of this playground is centered around a water area with sand. It looks quite interesting, but was not functional during our visit. Overall, I would say this playground appears slightly more impressive than it actually is, although it has some interesting climbing obstacles to be sure (pictured). One great benefit is the designated toilet for children.β
