Penguin Beach
π London, Greater London
London Zoo's Penguin Beach features Humboldt penguins in a beach habitat with underwater viewing. Visitors can buy fish packets and wear gloves to feed the penguins directly, with scheduled keeper talks explaining penguin behaviour.
It was absolutely lovely experience beautiful to watch penguins they jumping around swimming and great and also if you want you can feed penguins theyβre giving you gloves and you can buy packet of fish and you can feed the penguins. It was amazing experience.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 3 and up who want a memorable wildlife encounter beyond a standard zoo walkthrough. The hands-on feeding makes it genuinely interactive for school-age children. Younger toddlers enjoy the spectacle of penguins swimming at eye level through the viewing panels.

βFavourite place in the zoo, great seeing all the Humboldt penguins up close and swimming underwater. Enjoyed the penguin talk given by a staff member. The area has a nice light breeze and chillness on a warm day, also lots of seating area to observe from.β
