1 / 3St. Mary's Park
đ Manchester, North West
16-acre park in Prestwich with toddler swings, rope climbing structures, basketball and tennis courts, football fields, and a dedicated dog toilet area keeping play zones clean. Free parking on-site.
This is a lovely park for the children.. plenty of green space to be able to sit for a picnic on a nice day. A section for people to toilet their dogs which is a brilliant idea. Also lots of play equipment for the children and plenty of the outdoor gym equipment too. Always very busy whenever I drive past but was reasonably quiet when I called with the children
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want sports facilities alongside play equipment without paying a penny. Toddlers through teenagers all find something specific to do here. Weekday visits suit families who prefer room to breathe; weekend visits suit those who enjoy a buzzy atmosphere.

A designated dog toilet zone keeps the play areas clean. Ample green space suits picnics. Weekends draw large crowds; weekdays are markedly quieter.
